Ch Shujaat Hussain announces provision of fresh cooked food two times daily to the flood effected people

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain has said that helping flood-hit people was our duty and no “ehsan”.

He said this while talking to the flood-affected people during visit to flood-hit areas of Gujrat today. He also distributed relief goods among the flood-hit people. On this occasion he was accompanied by PML Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Ch Wajahat Hussain, Ch Shafat Hussain, Mian Imran Masood, Khalid Asghar Ghural and other leaders.

Ch Shujat Hussain further said that this was a difficult time for the flood-hit people, “we will reach out wherever anyone is suffering and shall stand with you till complete restoration”. He said ” you had had got Ch Parvez Elahi elected despite worst rigging in the last election, now it is our duty and your right that we should look after you”.

Announcing provision of fresh cooked food two times daily to the flood effected people of 8 worst flood hit villages of Gujrat from today, Ch Shujat Hussain said that dastarkhwan has also been established in Natt House where the flood-hit people could have their food.

He said that those who became parliamentarians and the govt due to rigging have no sympathy for the people.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed said that nobody alone could tackle the menace of flood but we all could face this menace together, Ch Shujat Hussain has come to the flood-hit people for solving their problems, they would be provided daily use items and for this purpose a cell has also been established.
