Lahore Lions triumph over Yo Yo Tigers in World Kabaddi League

Lahore: Lahore Lions has triumphed over Yo Yo Tigers in a interesting match of World Kabaddi League played at Ludhiana by 69-59. Lahore Lions Muhammad Shafique Chishti was declared Man of the match for his wonderful performance.He raided 30 times and win 29 points.Whereas stoppers gave minimum points and contributed in the victory of their team.

Lahore Lions players exhibited marvellous performance ,stoppers and raiders displayed memorable game and kept their strong hold throughout the match.

Punjab Minister for Law and Sports Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan and Director General SBP Usman Anwar, on Monday, have congratulated the Sports Board Punjab’s Lahore Lions kabaddi team for their moral boosting 69-59 victory against strong Yo Yo Tigers Kabaddi team, owned by Indian singer Yo Yo Honey Singh in a third phase match of World Kabaddi League (WKL) in Ludhiana on Sunday.

In his congratulatory message, Rana Mashhood said Lahore boys have strengthened their position with their fourth victory in the high profile kabaddi League. They really deserved huge appreciation for their magnificent performance.

DG SBP Usman Anwar said that Lahore team lived up to the expectations and really it was encouraging news for the entire nation. “We are quite hopeful that our team will maintain their level of performance in the next encounters,” he added. “Our team will face some tough challenge in the upcoming encounters but they have regained their form with a splendid triumph against their professional rivals and now it will be easy for them to cope with tricky conditions in the matches to come,” he expressed his hope.
