Shahbaz Sharif felicitate the Nation on the eve of Eid ul Fitr

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while congratulating the nation on the eve of Eid ul Fitr, has said that Eid is the gift of Almighty Allah for the Muslims for their one months’ worship and prayers. He said that on this happy occasion, we should not forget the poor and hapless people of the society rather we should perform our religious and moral obligation by sharing eid joys with them.

In his felicitation message, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Eid is coming at such a time when our displaced brothers and sisters of North Waziristan are in distress. Therefore, while celebrating Eid joys, we should not forget those great Pakistanis who are rendering sacrifices for peace and securing the future of Pakistan, he added. He said that Punjab government and people are providing all possible assistance to the affected families of North Waziristan. He said that besides relief items worth crores of rupees fodder has also been sent to Bannu for the livestock of IDPs. He said that Punjab government has distributed cash assistance of rupees seven thousand per family among the displaced families.el

The Chief Minister said that Punjab government and the people will not leave their brethren and sisters alone in this hour of distress. He said that Punjab government and the people will spare no effort for providing relief to the affected families and their rehabilitation. Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab government is spending billions of rupees on the provision of relief and basic facilities to the poor people of the province and ensured provision of quality edible items to them through Ramzan Bazaars. He said that we should not forget the poor, widows, orphans and downtrodden people of the society on Eid.

The Chief Minister appealed to the nation to offer special prayers for the security, stability and prosperity of the country on this happy occasion and pledge that it will play fullest role for the development and prosperity of the country.
