Islami Jaamiat Talba is behind propaganda against PU sports girls: Spokesman PU

PicLahore: The dope drama of Punjab University reached drop scene on Tuesday as 2 out of 5 female players submitted an application to the Vice Chancellor that they have not signed any application written to the Chief Minister regarding use of prohibited medicines.

The university spokesman said three out of six girls who did press conference were not university players instead they played for University of Lahore in the recent inter-university competitions. Female rowing players, whose names have been mentioned in the application, have also denied charges of injections.

PU players Fozia Perveen and Zoneera Liaqat, whose names with fake signatures have been used in the application to the Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, have said in their application to the Vice Chancellor and while talking to electronic media that their names had been misused with their fake signatures and they were not part of baseless application. They said they had never been administered steroid medicines. In her application, Fouzia Parveen said that University Law College Lecturer Khujista Rehan instigated her to file an application.

The students said that their names were also misused with forgery in the fire incident of sports hostel a few days back. Moreover, a PU player  Quratul Ain also submitted an application to the Vice Chancellor that Aqsa Nawaz and Aqsa Rasheed pressurized her to file an application but she thwarted their plan which resulted in a minor clash. Later, Qurat ul Ain said both the girls did her fake signature on application and misused her name. She said that she had never taken any steroid for better performance. She said that many times Aqsa Nawaz asked her to join University of Lahore with the offer of handsome scholarship.

On the other hand, the spokesman said that three out of six girls (in picture, from Left to Right) who spoke at a press conference were not PU players instead they represented University of Lahore in the recent year’s HEC inter-university competitions.

The university spokesman said that now there were clear evidences that who were behind the propaganda against Punjab University and its players. He said that addressing the press conference, Aqsa Rasheed told media that she was treated in Mansoorah Hospital, which was being operated by Jamaat e Islami.

The spokesman said it clearly proved Aqsa Rasheed’s connections with the political elements who were against the administration. The spokesman said that Bushra Mahmood’s admission was suspended in last December due to short attendance and there were many complaints regarding the behavior of these students on record. In the office of PU spokesman, the female rowing players, whose names were mentioned in the application to Chief Minister, gave interviews to City 42, Value TV and AbbTak news they have never used injections and they were ready for dope test.
