Courts orders to lift ECL ban on Musharraf

Lahore: Sindh high Court has ordered the government to lift a travel ban on ex-President Pervaiz Musharraf, according to his lawyer,the former leader was charged with treason earlier this year for his implementation of emergency rule in 2007.

The Pakistani government will have 15 days to lodge an appeal with the court.
Musharraf says he wants permission to leave the country to visit his ailing mother in Dubai, but many believe this is a ruse to escape the country permanently.
