Layyah police torture footage leaked

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of torture on a cultivator by police officials in the area of Police Station Chaubara, Layyah and sought a report from DPO Layyah.

He directed that immediate legal action be initiated against the police officials responsible for torturing a cultivator in public. He said that such incidents are unacceptable in a civilized society.

He assured that justice will be provided to the aggrieved citizen.
