Air Chief visits Flying Instructors School and Flying Training Wing

CAS in K-8 aircraftLahore: Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force visited Pakistan Air Force Academy, Risalpur today.

On his arrival at the academy, a smartly turned out contingent of     aviation cadets presented him the Guard of Honour. The inspection visit was undertaken with the purpose to assess the training and educational facilities at the various training institutions of the PAF Academy.

Air Chief visited College of Flying Training and College of Aeronautical Engineering, and expressed his appreciation on quality training being imparted at these premier institutions which has been the hallmark of PAF. Air Chief also visited Flying Instructors School and Flying Training Wing.

During his visit to Basic Flying Training Wing, the Air Chief also flew an assessment training mission in Karakoram-8, Advance Jet Trainer which is co-produced by Pakistan and China.  The Air Chief takes keen interest in the primary and basic flying of the budding under training pilots in order to establish the strong foundation of Pilots skills of PAF.

While interacting with the faculties and aviation cadets, the Air Chief appreciated their level of motivation and dedication towards service. The Air Chief also appreciated the academy’s efforts in providing quality training to the students of Air Forces of friendly and brotherly countries.

Earlier, on his arrival at the academy, the Air Chief was received by Air Vice Marshal Rashid Kamal, Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Risalpur.
