Lahore: DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed,has dismissed appeals and the answers of his subordinates who had been submitted in response to showcause notices and announced punishments for them.
While listening in orderly room,DIG Investigation dismissed ASI Tariq Aziz and constable Amjad Ali from service for having link with criminals ,corruption and involvement in a criminal case, Inspector Muhammad Adil, Inspector Azhar Saqib, Inspector Hasnain Haider, Inspector Ali Raza,Inspector Rehmat Ali,Muhammad Amir and Inspector Arif Hussain were given punishment of forfeiture of service from 2 to 5 years for faulty investigation, corruption and failing to catch the suspect.
The DIG Investigation also issued warning letters to Inspector Danish Ranjha, Inspector Farhan Anjum, inspector Munawar Hussain, Inspector Farhan Ali, Inspector Joseph Zakaria, Inspector Muhammad Aslam, Inspector Ghulam Abbas, Inspector Arshad Hayat Muhammad Nawaz for negligence in duty and poor performance.
