Lahore: In order to observe the transparency in process of recruitment of constables / lady constables in police department, the written test will be conducted under the supervision of Nation Testing Service (NTS) in 14 districts of Punjab.
Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Khan Baig told that in these districts total 30900 candidates will appeared in the written test to be scheduled on Sunday 06, April, 2014 against 5226 vacancies. These 14 districts are Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Jhelum, Attok, Sargodha, D.G. Khan, Muzaffargarh, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Rajanpur.
Complete list of names of candidates along with their examination centers of their respective districts could easily be downloaded from email addresses of CCPO Lahore, CPOs and DPOs. Moreover, roll number slips have already been dispatched to the candidates by NTS through post.
Provincial Police Chief directed the CCPO Lahore and all CPOs / DPOs of these districts to ensure the strict vigilance and security at all examination centers. According to the instructions of IGP the list of candidates will be pasted on the notice boards in police lines of each district.
