White House and Pentagon are the centers of conspiracies against Islam :Munawar Hasan

Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that White House and Pentagon were the centers of conspiracies against Islam and the Muslims and the US was playing the key role for the rule of the devil in the world.

Addressing the concluding session of the three day training convention for the JI office bearers through video link here on Sunday, he said that the US, the so called champion of democracy, was patronizing dictators in the Muslim world. After Iraq and Afghanistan, Egypt and Syria had now become the centers of US conspiracies.

He said that the Islamic movements had demonstrated great tolerance and perseverance in the face of the US conspiracies and aggression in order to prove their love for peace and democracy but the world community made no serious efforts to stop the US’s activities against Islam. The secular and US lobby opposing dialogue with the Taliban was continuing its agenda to spread anarchy and chaos in Pakistan in order to make out a case for international control over Pakistan’s nuclear assets.

The JI chief said that democratic attitude could not develop in the country during the last 67 years and the imposition of martial law and dictatorial rule after intervals increased the problems of the common man. He said that the May 2013 elections were the most controversial elections in the country’s history as both the winning and the losing parties were alleging of rigging.

The government was not serious in holding local bodies polls while the rulers were adding the burden of taxes and price hike totally ignoring their election manifesto. The masses were being denied basic facilities of education, health and employment.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that an economic revolution could not be brought about without a social revolution. He said that if the people wanted improvement, they would have to change their voting pattern. He said that expecting an improvement after voting the corrupt and the plunderers was sheer foolhardiness.

He said that if the government wanted better relations with India,  It must give top priority to the solution of the core issue of Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, JI Punjab chief, Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, said that the JI would start a vigorous drive against price hike and unemployment in the province during April.
