CIA Model Town arrested a couple for arms smuggling

Lahore: CIA Model Town Lahore arrested a couple involved in illicit arms smuggling from tribal areas and in different cities of Punjab.The accused have hidden the latest arms in his car Doug and other secret compartments.

SP CIA Umar Virk  received a tip that smuggler Akhtar Nawaz is coming to Lahore with the  a large quantity of arms so he constituted a special team under the command of Inspector Bashir Niazi cordoned off the motorways at Thokar Niaz Baig and started checking a suspicious car that was being driven by gun smuggler , his wife Rubina Children with were also riding the vehicle .On checking police found millions worth 8 rifles, 19 pistols, 5 thousand rounds, 60 magazines and additional vessels.

It is worth mentioning that the accused travelled with his wife Rubina and kids while delivering arms in Lahore to avoid Police.

DIG Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed  announced prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team for arresting arms smugglers.
