CM takes notice of self-immolation by a woman in Model Town

Lahore(March 21-2014): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of self-immolation by a woman in Model Town and sought a report from police and administration.

The Chief Minister also issued instructions for best treatment facilities to the woman in hospital.According to the police,a woman Abida Perveen resident of Shafiqabad had property dispute with her relatives.She came to visit CM Punjab at his residence but the security staff neither allowed her to meet nor give information to CM staff .As the CM went with his squad ,she tried to stop his car and later immolated her in protest.When Media aired this news ,Cm took notice of the incident ,and ordered for best medical facilities to the woman.
