Bomb proof Anti-terrorist stations will be established in Punjab

Lahore: Punjab Government has accorded approval for establishment of Anti-terrorist stations in the province. This was stated by  Chairman Police Reforms Committee Col. R. Shuja Khanzada while presiding over a meeting in this regard. He said that funds have been released by the government for this project. The Minister said that, in first phase ant-terrorist stations will be established in Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad on which work has been started and will be completed very soon.

He said that Anti-terrorist force will be authorized to launch FIR against terrorist, while anti-terrorist courts will also be established inside these stations for fast proceedings.

Col. R. Shuja Khanzada said that Chief Minister Punjab has given directions to complete the task of construction of these stations as soon as possible to provide life and money protection to the people of the province.

The Minister said that Anti-terrorist stations will be established in all divisions after Lahore, Multan and Faisalabad. Col. R. Shuja Khanzada informed that these stations will be constructed according to current needs and will be equipped with modern technology.
