Punjab government announces a local holiday in Lahore

Lahore: Punjab government has declared a local holiday in Lahore district on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, on account of “Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh (RA)”. This holiday will be observed only at the district level and its subordinate offices located in Lahore district. The Punjab Civil Secretariat, its attached departments and regional offices, however, shall remain open and functional as usual.
