Minister see conspiracy in the killing of religious leaders

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs Ata Muhammad Maneka presided over an emergent meeting which was attended by Muhammad Saqib Aziz, Secretary Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Coordinators on Religious Affairs, Mufti Zaheer Ahmed and Alhaaj Habib Ullah Khalid Bhatti.

The meeting strongly condemned the incidents of martyrdom of Allama Nasir Abbas Multani and Maulana Shamas ur Rehman Moavia.

The coordinators advised the people belonging to all sects to remain peaceful and show tolerance and patience. They said that the incidents of martyrdom of Allama Nasir Abbas Multani and Maulana Shamas ur Rehman Moavia are not unplanned but there is a planned conspiracy behind it to create differences among different sects. They said that we should be aware of such hidden enemies and should not put our unity in our ranks at stake of becoming tool of any such conspiracy.

Provincial Minister said that we are passing through a critical juncture of the history and it is our joint responsibility to remain peaceful and promote brotherhood. He said that we can foil all conspiracies for creating anarchy and chaos in the country by maintaining unity, love and affection in our ranks.
