PTI slams govt. on indefinite CNG closure

Lahore: PTI Provincial President Punjab Ejaz Ch has strongly condemned the govt. decision on indefinite CNG closure. Ejaz Ch said that the CNG closure will definitely result in not only making it impossible for many rikshaw and taxi drivers to sustain there employment but will result in the closure of many factories that rely on CNG as an energy source. He said that already the govt. through high prices of CNG and Petrol have made cost of running a business so high that industry hub like Faisalabad and Lahore are facing record business failures. This will further add to the mass unemployment and poverty in the country.

Ijaz Chaudhary said that this year has recorded the highest number of measles related deaths in children and a recurrence of dengue out break which CM of Punjab has proudly said that he had eliminated dengue forever. He said that the govt. was trying to close all avenues for the poor man to survive in this winter as without gas and without jobs more and more people will turn to crime and lawlessness.

He said that the Punjab CM was busy planning rigging for the upcoming local body elections by transferring and appointing all his experienced rigging masters who has in the five previous elections manipulated victory for them and thus had no time to take care of any governance issues. She should demanded that the govt. announce selected schedule of CNG closure so that the people suffering because of this can plan for alternative sources.
