Munawar Hasan pays glowing tributes to Maulana Abdul Wakeel

syed munawar hasan  Lahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan, has said that the forces of Kufr could not obstruct the spread of Islam’s light through their enmity and the massacre of the Muslims.

Addressing a ceremony held at Mansoora on the occasion of retirement of a JI veteran and research scholar Maulana Abdul Wakeel Alvi, from the Idara Ma’raf e Islami, he said that Islam preached peace besides love, brotherhood and  equality between mankind, and was thus the need of the humanity at this critical juncture. .

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the Jamaat e islami was primarily a religious movement and all those associated with it had rendered valuable sacrifices for the propagation of Islam’s message and for the enforcement of the Islamic order in the world. He said that it was due to the efforts of Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi and his colleagues that the literature of the Islamic movement was available all over the world in more than seventy languages.  The JI, he said, was a movement for the supremacy of Islam and its workers and associates had firm faith that Allah Almighty would make Islam supreme in the world.

Syed Munawar Hasan paid glowing tributes to Maulana Abdul Wakeel Alvi, who had devoted all his life for the service of Islam and had rendered invaluable services for the Islamic movement under JI veterans Mian Tufail Muhammad, Qazi Husain Ahmed, Maulana Khalil Hamidi and Maulana Naeem Siddiqui.
