Nation demands of Imran Khan to arrest the CIA Chief

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Law and Local Government, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the Chief of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Imran Khan is creating problems for the country whereas the PML-N leadership and the government are engaged in creating national consensus for the solution of problems being faced by the country. He said that creating national consensus is essential for the betterment of the country and the nation.

He was addressing pre-session media briefing in Punjab Assembly, here today. Rana Sanaullah said that PTI has adopted an inappropriate attitude towards NATO supply. He said that the issue of NATO supply will not be resolved by stopping the containers at Hayatbabad Toll Plaza as national consensus is vital for it. The Provincial Minister said that Army Chief has also seconded the step of national consensus. He said that the entire nation demands of Imran Khan to present the CIA Chief, nominated in the Hungoo incident, to the court. He said that the PML-N government has taken all possible steps with regard to drone attacks which include protest at diplomatic level, apprising the international community about the seriousness of the issue and creating national consensus.

Rana Sanaullah Khan said that overall situation during Muharram ul Harram remained peaceful. He said had the ulema of all schools of thought not played their role, the entire country would have been faced sectarian violence. He said that cases against the accused of Rawalpindi incident will be registered under terrorism act whereas action would be taken against the officers responsible of this incident in the light of the recommendations of the fact-finding committee.

Replying to a question, Law Minister said that the 30^th January 2014, has been fixed by Supreme Court for local bodies elections, therefore, Supreme Court has the power to extend this date but Punjab government has no objection to the date of January 30.

About the appointment of new Army Chief, Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the Prime Minister used his discretionary power in the appointment of General Raheel Sharif which is according to the constitution. Law Minister said that country would have to be purged of petty differences and unproductive situation for controlling price-hike which would help in strengthening the economy.
