Pakistan Junior Hockey Team will participate in the Hero Honda Junior World Cup

Lahore: Pakistan Junior Hockey Team will participate in the Hero Honda Junior World Cup to be played in New Delhi/6-15 December 2013.

Before going to New Delhi for participation in the Junior World Cup Hockey Tournament will play two practice matches against senior hockey team at Mian Muhammad Sharif Hockey Stadium, Johor Town Lahore on 29^th & 30^th November 2013 at 1800 & 1600 hours, respectively. The matches will provide more opportunity to players to improve their skills.

For the smooth conduct of the matches, the PHF has appointed following Panel of Technical Officials:-

 

TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: Olympian Muhammad Shafqat

TOURNAMENT OFFICERS: Mirza Waheed Baig, M. Shafique Bhatti & Dr. Urfan.

JUDGES:  Muhammad Irfan (International), Sohail Ashraf,  Munawwar Hussain Ch &Mr. Ejaz Chattah.

UMPIRE’S MANAGER:  Rashad Mahmood Butt

UMPIRES: Rana M. Liaqat,  Munir Ahmed & Hafiz Atif Malik.

The trials to select the final lineup of national squad for Hero Honda Junior World Cup are held today (27^th November 2013) and Team Management with the approval of Mr. Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, President PHF has announced following athletes, who will participate in the event:-

Mazhar Abbas (GK), Amin Yousaf (GK), Muhammad Khalid, Syed Kashif Shah, Muhammad Faisal Qadir, Muhammad Rizwan Junior, Muhammad Tousiq (Vice-Captain), Ammad Shakeel Butt, Zohaib Ashraf, Muhammad Umair, Muhammad Umar Bhutta (Captain), Muhammad Dilber, Muhammad Aleem Bilal, Muhammad Arslan Qadir, Tasawwar Abbas, Muhammad Irfan, Rizwan Ali, Muhammad Adnan &  Muhammad Kashif Javed = 19

During the two matches (29^th & 30^th Nov) if player Muhammad Khalid proves his fitness; then he will be the part of contingent; otherwise player Muhammad Kashif Javed will substitute him.
