Ahmad Shahzad and Junaid Khan make the history

Lahore: Green shirts have written the history by defeating proteas first time in ODI series.Ahmad Shahzad and Junaid Khan performed excellent and contributed for the victory.Pakistan scored 262 in forty five overs limited match with the help of Ahmad Shahzad’s ton.Though it was not looking a big total to win when SA were playing but the last over of Junaid Khan earned the victory for Pakistan with one runs. Proteas were needed 9 runs to win but they failed to chased the targets due to Junaid Khan’s targeted bowling.

Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and MQM’s Quaid Altaf Hussain has congratulated Pakistani cricket team on winning one day series against South Africa. In a message to national cricket team, they said that this achievement of national cricket team is the result of team work. They expressed the hope that Pakistani players will demonstrate such excellent performance to win laurels for the country in future as well.
