Kh. Salman visits to Jinnah and General Hospitals

Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister on Health Kh. Salman Rafique accompanied by Special Secretary Health Babar Hayat Tarar paid surprise visit to Jinnah and General Hospitals on Sunday night  and checked the attendance of the senior doctors in the dengue wards.

Consultant doctors were on duty in both the hospitals. Kh. Salman Rafique enquired after the patients under treatment in the dengue wards. He said on the occasion that free of cost treatment facilities are being provided to the dengue patients. Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has issued special instructions that no effort be spared in the treatment of dengue patients and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard, he added.

Kh. Salman Rafique said that he will continue surprise visits to the hospitals for ensuring presence of senior doctors in the dengue wards. Special Secretary Health Babar Hayat Tarar informed that five patients are under treatment in the dengue ward of Jinnah Hospital while 12 in General Hospital and their condition is satisfactory.

He said that clear instructions have been issued to the administration of all the government hospitals to ensure examination of dengue patients by the senior doctors in the morning and at night.
