JF-17 Thunders departed for Dubai Air Show

Lahore:  A three ship formation of JF-17 Thunders departed for Dubai Air Show from an Operational PAF Air Base today.  A modest contingent of Pakistan Air Force, comprising pilots and technicians will be participating in the static as well as aerobatic segment of Dubai Air Show commencing from 17 to 21 November, 2013. Pakistan’s indigenously produced Super Mashshak, Primary Trainer aircraft will also be participating in the air show.

The JF-17 aircraft for PAF are being co-produced at PAC Kamra. At present 02 Squadrons of JF-17 aircraft are operational in PAF. The JF-17 aircraft is also poised to become the mainstay of PAF, as the aircraft plans to replace its ageing fleet of fighter aircraft with JF-17s.
