Lahore: Atleast 2000 medical officers selected by Punjab public service commission have rejected the illegal and unconstitutional affidavit being demanded by the Punjab Health department and announced to file a writ petition in Lahore High court. In this regard tomorrow on Monday through their counsel Mian Bilal bashir advocate.
the six clauses included in the affidavit and the appointment letter are in violation of the constitution of Pakistan and civil service rules including the one which Barr the doctors from studying further and getting enrolled into a postgraduate training course.surprisingly the health department has also directed the PG’s to quit their PG training.
Dr.Asif, Dr. Saqib , Dr. Ijaz , dr. Nauman, dr. bilal ,dr. ghulam murtaza further added that PPSC had selected them on merit and they will not accept any illegal policy of health department.
Meanwhile,PMA Provincial council has rejected the present constitution of health care commission and termed its present working totally anti doctors and termed that commission is working out of its legal mandate. House observed that positive input of PMA has been ruined by negative forces operative in the commission and are creating situation for conflict in government and doctors.
