CJ LHC hoists National Flag on Independence Day

Lahore: To celebrate the Independence Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was held in the Lahore High Court today.

Hon’ble Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial accompanied by senior judges unfurled national flag atop Lahore High Court building facing the Mall.  Hon’ble Judges stationed in the provincial metropolis, officers and staff of Lahore High Court attended the function.  Hon’ble Chief Justice inspected guard of honour.

There was a complete pause on the sounding of sirens.  National anthem was played and the participants kept silent standing in respect.  After recitation from the Holy Quran, prayers were offered for the solidarity, prosperity and progress of the country.
