Blast in food street tremble the city,2 dead ,20 injured

Lahore:  At least 20 people have  injured  and 2 have died in a heavy blast in the food street of old Anarkali,a very much near place to the central police office where IGP and other senior officials sit. Blast has  shaken the city but authorities yet to confirmed the type of a blast.The explosion took place outside a milk shop.

Nearby buildings and shops were damaged as a result of the blast while Market and shops shut down after the explosion as fear and panic gripped the area.Rescue and emergency teams reached at blast site and security forces cordoned off the area.

The victims were shifted to Mayo and Sir Ganga Ram hospital.The number of casualties was feared to increase,Drs told to this scriber.

Private TV channels quoted police officials as saying that the blast was detonated using a timer device.
