Punjab govt to bear treatment expenses of a cancer patient

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, while taking notice of a news-item telecast by Geo News regarding Shabroze Shafqat, a cancer patient from Karachi, has announced her free treatment in Karachi.

Chief Minister’s Office has contacted the family of cancer patient in this regard and assured all possible cooperation. A representative of Punjab government will meet the family of the patient tomorrow. Punjab government will bear all treatment expenses of the patient.
