Lahore: DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai has visited five model police stations of city Shahdara, New Anarkali, Muslim Town, Green Town and Raiwand.
He checked the arrangements of cleanness, facilities of stations and reviewed the behavior of police officials with the citizens. He also pays attention to applicants and issued order on their applications on the spot.
He directed police there is no space for easygoing officials and misbehavior with the citizens would never be tolerated. He ordered to SHOs that they must be available from 4pm to 7pm in Police Station to listen the problems of applicants.
DIG Operations warned the police that the Illegal detention of any citizen will never be tolerated and if any official will found in such activity, the strict departmental action will be taken against him. He also directed police officers do not make lame excuses to register the cases of robbery, theft, burglary and street crimes.
