Lahore: Turkish Ambassador in Pakistan Babur Hizlan called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad. Pak-Turk relations and investment in Punjab were discussed during the meeting.
Talking to the ambassador Shahbaz Sharif expressed his gratitude to the Turkish leadership for promotion of Pak-Turk ties. He expressed his desire of further investment by Turkey in various development sectors in Punjab.
The Chief Minister said that metro bus project is a glorious example of Pak-Turk friendship and we are thankful to Turkish leadership for extending cooperation in completion of this project.
Turkish Ambassador Babur Hizlan assured that Turkish investment in Punjab would continue as Turkey gives great importance to its relations with Pakistan.
