Nawaz Sharif,Imran Khan,Tahir ul Qadri lives are in danger: Punjab Government

Tahir ul Qadri,Imran KhanLahore: Home Department Punjab after the information of attacking important political leaders by terrorists has immediately issued written instructions to political leaders to restrict their political activities.

Home Department Punjab through a letter, has formally informed the political leaders that there are pieces of information that mischievous elements can attack them for achieving their nefarious designs and there is apprehension that effort of murderous attack can be made on political leaders.

Home Department in view of this information has issued an advisory warning to political leaders and asked them that public meetings, processions and rallies should not be taken out in open places and sit-ins should also be avoided. Home Department in the advisory warning has asked political leaders to restrict their activities and they have been informed in writing to avoid visiting public places. Home Department Punjab has also issued instructions to law enforcement agencies to further tighten the security of political leaders and important buildings.

It has been further said in the instructions of Home Department that political leaders should act upon the instructions of Home Department to avoid any untoward incident and the advisory warning of Home Department should be taken seriously and no irresponsibility be displayed to their security. In view of the advisory warning issued to political leaders, the responsibility of any untoward incident will also rest on them if they choose to ignore.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi has also contacted President PML-N Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Chairman PTI Imran Khan and head of Pakistan Awami Tehrik Tahirul Qadri on telephone in this regard. The Chief Minister has appealed political leaders to avoid taking out rallies, processions, holding public meetings and sit-ins in the larger national interest.
