Governor Punjab calls on President

Lahore: Governor Punjab Makhdum Syed Ahmed Mahmud called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Bilawal House on Tuesday.

Overall situation in the province particularly security
arrangements for holding free and fair elections were discussed
during the meeting.

The Governor apprised the President about various steps being
taken to maintain law and order in Punjab and to ensure holding of
free, fair and transparent election in the Province.
