Adiala Jail is a best place for Pervaiz Musharraf:PML-N

Lahore: PML-N spokesperson Senator Pervaiz Rashid said Thursday that Adiala Jail and not a luxurious palace was the right abode for an absconder.

“Pervez Musharraf was first an accused, became a criminal later and now he has become an absconder,” the senator told the media. He said that President Zardari could not secure indemnity for Musharraf due to the stiff resistance from the PML-N.

He said that Musharraf was now head of a political party and his previous institution should, therefore, have no concern for him now. He also said that elections could not be delayed on the pretext of fresh terrorist activities in the country. “Terrorism will grow if elections are delayed and only the PML-N, a party that is true representative of people can eliminate this menace from the country,” the senator said.
