PTI points finger on Shahbaz Sharif governance

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sports and Culture Wing President Iftikhar Elahi on Wednesday accused Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for misusing the taxpayers’ money for petty political gains and said that the Punjab government had distributed Rs nine billion to its favorites under the name of ‘Sports Gala’.“The Punjab government has once again set a record of looting the public money as it has distributed billions to their blue eyed people under the pretext of sports gala,” said Iftikhar while addressing a press conference here at party secretariat.

He was flanked by former test cricketer Wajahatullah Wasti, Riaz Afridi, Owais Ali Wasti, Mateeullah Wasti, Asif Malik and other party leaders.

He added that the matter has been taken up by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He said that a manifesto of New Pakistan by PTI Chairman Imran Khan would be unveiled on March 23rd at Minar-e-Pakistan, adding that more than ten thousand people belonging from sports and culture sector would participate in a historic public gathering of PTI in form of a Carvan.

Iftikhar said that the people have decided to bring change in the country and march 23rd would be a decisive day in the country’s history. He said that PTI was the only in which people belongs from all walks of lives have been given representation, adding that a major change would come in the country after PTI’s public gathering on March 23rd. Iftikhar said that renowned players of the country have been supporting Imran Khan, adding that after coming into power PTI would also bring reforms in the country and would also work to boost the sports activities in the country.
