CJ Bandial took notice of eight incidents of law and order

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, Lahore, Mr. Justice Umar Ata Chief Justice LHC1reported in the print media and sought reports from concerned District & Sessions Judges regarding steps taken by the local police along with their own comments in a week.

In an application addressed to Chief Justice it was submitted that two sisters Rimsha,7, and Humera,8, were kidnapped some 15 months back and a case was got registered at PS Shujabad District Multan but the Police failed to find any clue to the missing minor girls to date. In this regard, D&SJ, Multan has been directed to look into the matter and submit of detailed report.

Similarly, Hon’ble CJ also took notice on the 04 rape cases reported in newspapers in the districts of Pakpattan, Muridke and Gujranwala.

Sexual harassment of minor boys at Lahore, murder of an eunuch at Okara and kidnapping of a woman at Gujranwala also caught attention of Chief Justice and detailed reports from the respective District & Sessions Judges has been called.
