Provincial Art and Craft Exhibition would be held on 7th of March

Lahore: Director General Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Punjab, Malik Aslam has said that arrangements have been finalized for holding Provincial Art and Craft Exhibition in Qasr-e-Behbood Model Town from 7th to 9th March under the aegis of the Department.

Director General Malik Aslam was presiding over a high level meeting held to review the arrangements in detail, here today. The meeting was informed that Secretary Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Punjab Malik Tahir Sarfaraz Awan will be the chief guest on the first day while Advisor to Chief Minister Begum Zakia Shahnawaz will be the chief guest on March 8 at 11 am during this 3-day art and craft exhibition. Begum Zakia Shahnawaz will inaugurate new building of Qasr-e-Bebhood. Malik Aslam said that handicrafts from all over the province will be displayed in the exhibition and the manufacturers will be encouraged. The concluding ceremony of the exhibition will be held at 3.00 pm and Begum Shaista Pervaiz Malik will be its chief guest. Commendatory certificates will be distributed among the participations of the exhibition in the concluding ceremony.
