PPP’s MPA Ahmed Hussain Dehar joins PML-N

Lahore: Member Federal Council of Pakistan Peoples Party and MPA from PA-200 Multan Ahmed Hussain Dehar called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and while expressing full confidence in the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced to join Pakistan Muslim League-N. Chairman Lahore Transport Company Khawaja Ahmed Hassan and Advisor Zaeem Hussain Qadri were also present on the occasion. Ahmed Hussain Dehar was the close companion of former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and President PPP Multan Division from 1997. Ahmed Hussain Dehar has sent his resignation from membership of provincial assembly to the Speaker Punjab Assembly.

Welcoming the joining of PML-N by Ahmed Hussain Dehar, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the party will further strengthen in the area. The Chief Minister said that due to the politics of public service, PML-N has become the most popular party of the country and Zar Baba Forty Thieves will be given crushing defeat in the forthcoming general elections. He said people are fully aware that who committed corruption and who served the masses. He said that Rs.260 billion have been spent during the last five years for the progress and prosperity of the people of South Punjab.

On this occasion, Ahmed Hussain Dehar said that he has joined PML-N unconditionally and sent his resignation from membership of provincial assembly to the Speaker Punjab Assembly. He said that he will work as a party worker under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and make all out efforts for further activating the party in the area. He said that PPP has disappointed the masses during the last five years and Mian Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who has ability to steer the country out of crisis.
