City Division police smashes Waseem alias Bhaiya Dacoit Gang

Lahore: City Division police smashed Waseem alias Bhaiya Dacoit and Motorcycle Lifter Gang and arrested six accused including the ringleader. As many as one motorcycle, 12-mobilephones, 6-pistols with 24 bullets and other house articles hold were recovered from them.

According to detail, DIG Operation, Lahore Muhammad Tahir Rai directed the Lahore police to come out from the police stations to meet the challenge of the time. He further made it clear that the criminals must be crushed out with an iron hand. On this direction SP City Division Multan Khan formed a police team comprising DSP Lower Mall Muhammad Mumtaz, SHO Data Darbar and other officials.

They worked day & night to explore the strategies of criminals to create instability and fear in the society. During this action they arrested Waseem Bhaiya gang and recovered one motorcycle, 12-Mobilephones, 6-pistols with 24 bullets and other house hold articles from the possession of criminals. The accused Muhammad Waseem alias Bhaiya, Muhammd Zahid, Faiz Abbas, Sajjad Javed, Amir Khan and Muhammad Shan confessed 39 incidents of different crimes.

DIG Operations Muhammad Tahir Rai has announced cash award and commendation certificates for the raiding party.
