Automobile manufacturers to produce cheapand quality cars:Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has asked automobile manufacturers in Pakistan to give preference to production of cheap and good quality cars. He said this while talking to Pak Suzuki Motors Managing Director Mr Hiro Fumi Nagao, Mr Ajmal Sharif and Mr Ijaz who called on him at the State Guest House here today. On this occasion, Secretary Industries Shafqat Naghmi was also present.

Pak Suzuki Motors MD said that import of CNG kit and cylinder in Pakistan is banned for one and half years whereas both of these items are available in the market. He said that because of no import of these items, it has become almost impossible for their 77 vendors to work and they are on the verge of being closed down. He said because of being of good quality, there has been no explosion anywhere in the country because of imported CNG kit and cylinder.

Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi directed Secretary Industries Shafqat Naghmi to hold a meeting with Pak Suzuki Motors MD and take steps for solving their problems and difficulties.
