People are the biggest stakeholders of the country:Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Central leader of PML-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that Pakistani people are the biggest stakeholders of the country’s politics. He said that every step and policy of PML (N) is aimed at the public welfare. He said that PML (N) is promoting the politics of service in the country and expressed the hope that after next general elections, the era of development and prosperity will usher in under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.

He expressed these views while addressing the function of distribution of achievement awards held under the auspices of Okara Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Okara today. President Okara Chamber of Commerce Ch. Arshad Iqbal, Ch. Riaz-ul-Haq, Mian Yawar Zaman, Mian Muneer Ahmed, Nadeem Abbas Rabaira and a large number of party leaders and workers were present on the occasion.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that the traders, industrialists, labourers and common citizens are facing economic problems but the rulers sitting in Islamabad have no concern with the problems of the people and have not been taking any step for redressal of their grievances. He said that it is the responsibility of the nation to rid the country of these looters and dacoits in the coming elections through vote. Hamza Shahbaz said that every patriotic person will have to bring the pious and patriotic leadership through power of their vote for the survival of the country. He said that the present rulers are looting national exchequer ruthlessly. He said that we will have to wage a crusade against corruption for ousting the ring leaders of corruption from the corridor of powers.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that our rulers have made Pakistan a begging country for the aid of a few dollars whereas Punjab government, contrary to it has set a shining example of national honor by renouncing the foreign aid. He said that in 1997, electricity was in abundance in the country during Nawaz Sharif era but the present rulers by paying the circular debt of Rs. 540 billions, preferred to fill their pockets instead of solving energy crisis and pushed the people and the economy of the country into darkness. He said that present rulers are not sincere and the people will oust those politicians playing with the destiny of the masses in the coming elections forever. He said that like bye-elections, the people will once again give proof of political maturity by defeating the politics of money and coercion. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif announced that a piece of land will soon be provided for establishing industrial estate and Chamber of Commerce in Okara city. He said that the leadership of PML-N has earlier, faced every kind of crisis and in future will also not hesitate to render any sacrifice for safeguarding public interests.

On this occasion, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also distributed achievement awards among prominent industrialists and traders.
