Dark Horse Khan Baig becomes IG Punjab

Lahore:Punjab Government has transferred the additional IG Punjab KB Awan just after 24 hours he assumed the additional charge of the IGP.He has been made addition IG Punjab Highway Patrolling Post in replacement of Khan Baig. Now the former Additional IG PHP Khan Baig has been made the Additional IG Punjab with the additional charge of the IGP.

According to the notification Khan baig was born in 1954 in Attock.He had passed the masters dagree in Economics.He joined Police department as an ASP in 1980.He belonged to 8th common.He was promoted SP in 1987 and became Additional Inspector General of Police in 2011.

He had served in Karachi,Quetta and different cities of the Punjab as SP,SSP,AIG,DIG and RPO.He had worked as DIG HQ and RPO Sargodha too.
