Justice Sheikh Najam ul Hasan visits Accountability Courts

Lahore: Mr. Justice Sheikh Najam ul Hasan of Lahore High Court with MIT, Abdul Sattar visited Accountability Courts, today. Hon’ble Judge is also supervisor of Accountability Courts of the province. Hon’ble Justice met to the Judges, Prosecutors, Lawyers and staff of the said courts separately and also listen their complaints and problems. He also visited the Bakhsi Khana and met the accused persons brought for appearance in various cases. Hon’ble Judge directed the judges for rapid disposal of cases according to the National Judicial Police-2009 and he also advised the lawyers and prosecutors for positive co-operation.

Judges of the courts expressed their problems and the Hon’ble Judge assured them for their solutions. He said people trust on the courts and to maintain this we have to boost up the speed of our work.

Hon’ble Judge advised the prosecutors that instead of calling all the witnesses make groups of them and call one relevant witness group to save the time of other ones. Hon’ble judge asked the judges to remain maximum time in court room and leave for chambers after finishing of court timings.

Hon’ble Judge asked the admin judge for providing one bar room for the lawyers and also directed to plant trees with co-operation of Horticulture Department in court premises. He further directed the admin judge to write a letter to Home Department for enhancing court security and build shed for sitting of accused persons and litigant public.
