Users have been provided direct dialing access of NH&MP Helpline 130?:IG Zafar Abbas

Lahore: Provision of help to road users in distress is the hallmark of the National Highways & Motorway Police and all the resources will be utilized to provide effective and timely help to the distressed road users said Inspector General NH&MP Zafar Abbas Lak in a ceremonial dinner here at Sheikhupura.

I.G NH&MP Zafar Abbas Lak said that Warid and Mobilink network users were facing problem in direct dialing of the helpline during last couple of weeks and he had ordered to sort out this problem on top priority with the help of PTA. Now after removal of this technical fault under supervision of Director Communication Habibullah Kasana, more than 50 million mobile users have been provided direct dialing access of NH&MP Helpline 130 said IG.

The ceremonial dinner was arranged by the civil society members in recognition of the efforts of IG NH&MP Zafar Abbas Lak for promoting a public service and people friendly policies of the department. The ceremony was attended by Israr Miran, Kanwar Imran Saeed, Ch. Javed Saleem and other dignitaries from different segments of the society. The participants were all praises of the IG for taking all the stake holders into confidence before formulating any policy or launching road safety campaigns, holding road safety seminars and promoting culture of sports in the department.
