Religious voters must vote to oust Zardari :Syed Munawar Hasan

LAHORE: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Syed Munawar Hasan,
has said that the unity of the religious forces was the need of the hour.

He further said that all those associated with the Tableeghi Jamaat and the Jamaat al Dawa should cast their vote for a change in the country and to oust Zardari and his allies.He made these remarks during his meeting with the chief of the Jamia Binnauria, al Alamya, Karachi, Mufti Muhammad Naeem, which he visited on Wednesday, according to reports reaching here. JI Karachi chief, Muhammad Husain Mehnati and Secretary Naseem Siddiqui, also accompanied the JI chief. Mufti Muhammad Naeem slated the murderous attempt on Qazi Husain Ahmed and lauded his services for the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the Malala incident was a plot against Jehad and not against the Taliban.He further said that the attack on former JI Ameer Qazi Husain Ahmed and the JUI(F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman some time back were interconnected.

Syed Munawar Hasan said that the pro- US Afghan, called the Northern Alliance was carrying out terrorist activities in the country in the name of Tehrik e Taliban. He said the secret agencies of the country knew this fact but they were deliberately ignoring it. However, he sad the true Taliban should disown such activities, he added.
The JI Ameer said that the students of the religious Madrissahs were being maligned and victimized at the behest of the secular lobby although they were peaceful and were sincerely serving Deen.
