PMA thanks to Shahbaz Sharif for approving the service structure.

The regular Executive Committee meeting of PMA Lahore held today at PMA House 66-Ferozpur Road, Lahore. Dr. Muhammad Tanveer Anwar chaired the meeting. The executive committee unanimously decided to hold the biennial Election of PMA Lahore on Sunday 30th December, 2012 at 66-Ferozpur road, Lahore. Dr. Sarwar Ch. Was unanimously elected as Chief Election Commissioner and Dr. Muhammad Sadiq and Dr. Shahid Shaukat Malik were declared as Deputy Election Commissioner.

The house also appreciated the efforts of Senator Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Salman Rafiq, Secretary Health and others to come up with a positive solution. The house extended special thanks to Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for approving the service structure.

The house through another resolution strongly condemned the hidden hands who are trying to implicate the innocent doctors of PIC in the drug reaction case. It was decided that PMA will support and will stand by these doctors on each and every forum to defeat this conspiracy.

Through another resolution house urged the Chief Minister to appoint the regular Vice Chancellor of the both Medical Universities of the Punjab strictly on merit and without further delay
