JI delegation leaves for Sudan

Lahore: A delegation of the Jamaat e Islami, left here for Sudan on Wednesday, on a five day visit, on the invitation of the Islamic movement of Sudan.

The delegation is led by the JI Ameer, Syed Munawar Hasan and includes JI Secretary General, JI Foreign wing chief, Abdul Ghaffar Aziz, JI Women wing leaders Begum Aisha Munawar and Dr Rukhsana Jabeen.
Syed Munawar Hasan will participate in the annual convention of the Sudan’s Islamic movement and also address the moot. The members of the delegation will also meet the leaders of different Islamic movements attending the moot.

JI deputy chief, Ch. Muhammad Aslam Saleemi, took oath as acting Ameer of the JI in the absence of Syed Munawar Hasan.
