Lahore: Vice Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that youth would play its vital role in bringing change in the country and PTI has given this task to the young generation which was working actively. He said that in the those volunteers who worked day and night would again perform in the coming elections and reject the traditional politics.
He was addressing the Youth Organisations of PTI here today who took part in holding the Covention. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that old and corrupt political system would end now through the new political change. He admitted that we may lack with inexperience but credibility of Imran Khan is our strength. PTI is neither production of rigging nor we would allow any body to change the electoral results. He praised the enthusiasm of the youth in the convention and said that if such zeal remained active in the coming elections and 60 to 70 per cent turnout is ensured victory of PTI would be confirmed. He said that the convention of 4th November was unique in a way that no transport was arranged and every one used its own resources for the event. He said that no advertisement was arranged by PTI and it was the success of social media that youth in such a large number was gathered.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that PTI would not stop here and our new target is to hold Youth Convention at KPK, then at South Punjab and Sindh and Balochistan. He especially asked the youth came from Quetta that due to mistakes of the past situation was such worse in Balochistan but PTI after coming into power would redress all the issues. He said that Imran Khan would address at Mirpur AJK tomorrow and we will keep in view the interests of Pakistan and no compromise would be made. He called upon youth to keep on working and play its role in the national affairs. He said that Imran Khan announced 25 per cent quota for them in the Parliament and now it is their responsibility to prove their abilities.
On this occasion, Shah Mahmood Qureshi distributed certificates among those who participated in the Youth Convention on behalf of their associations. Young students present there also chanted slogans and expressed their solidarity with PTI.
