Lahore: Deputy Chief Minister of Indian Punjab, Sukhbir Singh Badal and his delegation visited Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Gurdwara Dera Sahib and Samadhi Ranjeet Singh. When Deputy Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal and his delegation reached these historical places, they were received by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Indian delegation highly appreciated the beauty of Shishmahal. The Indian delegation was also conducted on a tour of Badshahi mosque. The members of the delegation appreciated the Islamic architecture of Badshahi mosque and also recorded their impressions in the visitors’ book. Later, Sukhbir Singh Badal and his delegation went to Gurdwara Dera Sahib. The Indian delegation also saw Samadhi of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh and lauded the efforts of the government for the maintenance and conservation of historical places. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that he was very pleased to see the ancient culture and lifestyle of Lahore. He said that besides other rulers, Lahore also has the imprints of Sikh ruler Ranjeet Singh which are of deep veneration for the Sikh community.
