Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, President of the PML (N) comments on the loss of life and destruction of property in Eastern United States

Mr. Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, President of the PML (N) has expressed

his deep grief and sorrow at the loss of life and widespread destruction of

property and infrastructure in Eastern United States, as a result of the

devastating hurricane.

In this context, Mr. Nawaz Sharif has called upon the Embassy of

Pakistan in Washington and our Consulates in other cities, to keep in regular

contact with Pakistani associations and welfare organizations in Eastern United

States and to extend them full support and solidarity in their hour of distress. He

stressed that the Pakistanis living in the US must not feel that they have been left

forgotten by their fellow countrymen at this difficult time.

The former Prime Minister expressed these sentiments of sympathy and

support for thousands of Americans, who have suffered on account of this

unprecedented natural disaster, while speaking to some of his Party workers,
