Lahore: MNA Hamza Shahbaz has said that Supreme Court has given a historic decision in the Asghar Khan case and nation should wait for the facts to unfold. He said that a transparent inquiry should be conducted in the light of the decision of Supreme Court so that the nation could hold the elements responsible for corruption accountable. Strongly supporting the decision of Supreme Court, he congratulated the judiciary and the masses on this historic decision. He said Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif by setting an example from his house has proved that PML-N believes in the supremacy of law and there is no difference between Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and the common man on the issue of equality before the law.
He expressed these views at the inaugural ceremony of the Model Bazaar of City District Government comprising 152 shops constructed at a cost of two 2 crore rupees at Thokhar Niaz Beig and later talking to media men, here today. Chairman Model Bazar, Malik Afzal Khokhar MPA, Malik Saiful Malook Khohar MNA and a large number of PML-N workers were present on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that future of the nation depends on the youth and PML-N is more interested in honourable means of livelihood for the youth than acquisition of power. He said that Zardari regime is the main hurdle between PML-N and the aspirations of the people which have devastated Railways, PIA, Steel Mills and other important national institutions during the last four and a half years. He said that PML-N leadership is protesting and striving against the corruption of the rulers. He said that the problems of the country cannot be resolved till complete elimination of loadshedding and PML-N has the technical plan and the political will to eliminate loadshedding.
Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that every Pakistani wants to rid of drone attacks and for the purpose of bringing an end to the drone strikes and transforming Pakistan in accordance with the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam, committed and dedicated leader like Nawaz Sharif will have to be elected in the next general elections as it was he who made Pakistan a nuclear power, strengthened the economic foundation of the country and restored judiciary. He further said that if given opportunity by the people, new system will be introduced in the country to provide respectable job opportunities to the young generation.
