Rotton fishes are there in jail staff: Minister prison Iqbal Channar

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Prisons, Malik Iqbal Channar has said that strict action is being taken against government officers and officials of all the jails of the province earning a bad name for the department.

He said that the jail officials have been made duty bound to provide every possible facility to the relatives and attendants of prisoners visiting them in jails. He warned that in case of violation of government instructions in any jail, strict action would be taken against the concerned Jail Superintendent and DIG. He said that complaints could be sent through email on inistercomplaintcell@yahoo.com in case of any illegal demand by jail officials or any other difficulty faced by the people visiting the prisoners in jails.

fishes Immediate action would be taken against the concerned jail official and the complainant would also be informed in this regard, he added. He said that government is spending crores of rupees for the welfare of the prisoners and jail officials so that the prisons could be made reforms houses.
