Lahore: Senior Advisor to Chief Minister Senator Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa has said that relief and rehabilitation of Jampur, Rajanpur and Rojhan flood affectees. He said those persons who have been rendered homeless as a result of flood have been provided tents, medical facilities and edibles.
He expressed these views while visiting flood affected districts. Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that, on the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Provincial Minister for Planning & Development Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, Secretary Food, Secretary Irrigation, Secretary Health, Secretary Livestock, Special Secretary C&W, Commissioner DG Khan and other high ranking officers are present in DG Khan to ensure provision of all possible facilities to the flood affectees along with conducting ground and aerial inspection of flood affected areas of Jampur, Rajanpur and Rojhan, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa said that the DCO DG Khan has already more than five hundreds tents available, whereas 2000 tents would reach by night, while 5000 more tents would be made available during one week. He said all administrative machinery has been activated for rehabilitation of flood affectees, while complete monitoring of relief activities is being carried out.
